About the competition
Your team is the board under pressure

Classic case study competitions mainly test the ability to build presentations and statically analyse theoretical data. Global Business Cup tests who will make the right decision when the board has 30 minutes to act.

01
"Zero" Moment
The team takes over a stable, global company. A sudden crisis disrupts order and triggers an immediate market reaction.
02
The Round
Every 30-60 minutes new events arrive: regulatory demands, client materials, stock market rumours. Short time to respond.
03
Press Conference
A live press conference closes each round. The team faces demanding journalists and defends their decisions.
Team roles
CEO
Strategy, decision authorisation, operational consistency.
CFO
Penalty costs and compensation, financial liquidity.
CLO
Regulations, litigation risk, penalty minimisation.
CCO
Reputational crisis management, media.
How we judge

Team decisions are judged by an international jury of business practitioners, crisis PR experts, and academics.

Decision accuracy and speed
Consistency and ethics of actions
